Garde Remi reveals Jack Grealish will return to Aston Villa first-team training this week



The talented Grealish had been forced to train with Villa's development squad as a punishment for being filmed in a Manchester nightclub hours after the first team's 4-0 defeat at Everton and amid allegations he also partied at a Birmingham hotel the following day.

He again had no involvement in Saturday's 1-1 Premier League draw at Southampton, but after he has played for the reserves on Monday, Garde - who has overseen two draws and two defeats since his appointment as Villa's manager - will again consider the 20-year-old for selection.

Santi Cazorla undergoes knee surgery and could be facing four-month layoff



The 30-year-old Spain international was injured early in the second half of Arsenal's recent draw at Norwich - but remained on the pitch for the rest of the game.
Wenger admitted afterwards that Cazorla had finished the match "on one leg" and said in his press conference ahead of Saturday's victory over Sunderland that it was a possibility the former Malaga man would be out until March.
 
It was unclear at that point whether Cazorla would require an operation but, speaking after the 3-1 win over Sam Allardyce's Black Cats, Wenger revealed the player had gone under the knife.

Remi Garde preparing to splash the cash in January to turn Aston Villa's fortunes around



The Midlands club are currently bottom of the Premier League, having collected just five points from their opening 13 games.

 
When asked if he will need to strengthen his squad in the New Year, Garde said: "Yes probably, we will.

Super Eagles midfielder Shehu Abdullahi says it will be a difficult task qualifying for the FIFA 2018 World Cup but he is confident coach Sunday Oliseh can lead to them to get the ticket.

 
Abdullahi played at right back in the two second leg Africa zone qualifier against Swaziland and did quite well especially in the return leg in Port-Harcourt.

Chelsea edge closer to purchasing AFC Wimbledon's ground Kingsmeadow



The deal will raise funds for the League Two club's proposed move to a new stadium at their original home of Merton.
The Blues want to use the Cherry Red Records Stadium to host their youth and ladies' matches.

 
At a special general meeting on Monday night the Dons Trust, the largest shareholder of AFC Wimbledon, voted overwhelmingly in favour of selling the stadium lease.

Nigeria- Golden Eaglets win FIFA U-17 World cup again



Nigerian Golden Eaglets became only the second side to retain the FIFA U-17 World Cup with a 2-0 win against Mali in Vina Del Mar. Nigeria has won five times FIFA U-17 World Cup list date are  in 1985, 1993, 2007, 2013, and now in 2015 in Chile.
 
The Nigerian team won the maiden edition of FIFA U-17 World Cup in 1985 in China, the fifth edition of the tournament in 1993 in Japan, the twelfth edition of the tournament in 2007 in South Korea,the fifteenth held in the United Arab Emirates 2013 and again the sixteenth in Chile 2015.

Less than six months after leading the club to Premier League title glory, Mourinho's future at Stamford Bridge is being called into question.

Premier League: Arsenal 2 Everton 1



Arsenal managed to hold back the Everton tide to win and move to the top of the Premier League table.
For most of the first half Arsenal dominated the game but didn’t look particularly dangerous. However all things changed in the 36th minute when a lovely high pass from Mesut Ozil was headed home by Olivier Giroud.
Barely had the game restarted when Everton fouled Sanchez and gave away a free kick. Santi Cazorla found Laurent Koscielny, who headed home, resulting in a quick two goal lead.
 
Just before half time Everton broke forward and a Ross Barkley strike deflected off Gabriel, wrong footing Petr Cech, and giving Everton a way back into the game.

WORLD CUP: Nigeria U17: Chile 1 - Nigeria 5 Qualify for last 16

Holders Nigeria continued their impressive start to their FIFA U-17 World Cup title defence by completing a comprehensive 5-1 victory over hosts Chile and progressing to the knockout stages in the process.


A goal within 30 seconds by star man Samuel Chukwueze set the tone for a straightforward win, with the diminutive No8 grabbing a second in the second half after he had earlier been fouled for Kelechi Nwakali’s to score from the spot, and before he was felled for Victor Osimhen’s successful spot kick conversion.

Sepp Blatter, Michel Platini & Jerome Valcke suspended by Fifa:

Fifa has provisionally suspended its president Sepp Blatter, secretary general Jerome Valcke and vice-president Michel Platini for 90 days. 

Former Fifa vice-president Chung Mong-joon has been banned for six years and fined 100,000 Swiss Francs (£67,000).

Nigeria appointed Sunday Oliseh as the New Coach

Nigeria have appointed former Super Eagles midfielder and Captain Sunday Oliseh as the new coach. 

The 40-year-old has signed a three-year deal and succeeds Stephen Keshi, who was sacked at the start of July. 

"We have the talent to change our fortunes, to regain the respect we once had and match that with results," Oliseh said.

Sunday Oliseh (centre) is unveiled as the new Nigeria coach "This is the biggest job in African football. With everyone's support we can get the Super Eagles flying again."
